Advanced Rheumatology

Rheumatologists specialize in clinical problems, such as focusing on the joints, soft tissues, autoimmume diseases and vasculitis. Located in the Halifax Medical building across from Leigh Memorial Hospital, our Board Certified Physicians at Advanced Rheumatology offer an extensive line of rheumatic services, including but not limited to, infusion medications, theurapeutic injections, musculoskeletal ultrasounds and ultrasound guided soft tissue injections.

Bayview Physicians Group’s use of an Electronic Medical Record ensures that physicians and health care providers throughout the Medical Group, including our Urgent Care physicians have access to your full  medical record at all times.

Most major insurances are welcomed, however, please refer to the insurance tab to see if Advanced Rheumatology is a provider for your plan.  If a patient's insurance requires a referral to see a specialist (HMO insurance), they must obtain a referral from their primary care provider's office prior to their scheduled visit at Advanced Rheumatology.  Without the referral, patients will be required to pay in full at the time of service.
