Endocrinology Consultants - Chesapeake

Endocrinology focuses on the endocrine (hormone-secreting) systems. This includes the endocrine glands (pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, adrenals, parathyroid, ovaries, testes) and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disorders including Thyroid Cancer, Hyperlipidemia, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and Osteoporosis. We also evaluate patients with difficult Hypertension.

Endocrinology Consultants has three convenient locations in the Hampton Roads area; Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Suffolk. Some services provided by Endocrinolgy Consultants includes bone density evaluation, thyroid ultrasound, thyroid fine needle biopsy and in-house laboratory services.  Bayview Physicians Group’s use of an Electronic Medical Record ensures that physicians and health care providers throughout the Medical Group, including our Urgent Care physicians have access to your full medical record at all times.

Most major insurances are welcomed, however patients should confirm coverage with their insurance carrier prior to their first visit. If a patient's insurance requires a referral to see a specialist (HMO insurance), they must have a referral from their primary care provider's office. Without the referral, the patient will be required to pay in full at the time of service.
