Biography

Jeffrey J. Berger, MD, graduated with both his Bachelor of Science in biology degree and his Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Surgery, serving as Chief Resident.

Dr. Berger is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He has served in numerous medical staff leadership positions at both Princess Anne Hospital and Virginia Beach General Hospital. Dr. Berger’s particular fields of interest include hernia repair, anti reflux surgery, and cutaneous malignancies.
