Biography

Tahir Ahmed, MD, is an experienced physician who joined Bayview Hospitalist Group in 2014. He completed his internal medicine residency at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Ahmed has served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Director of Utilization Review Committee. He has special interest in hospital medicine, wound care, and geriatrics. In addition, he enjoys staying current with research and modern medicine, as well as traveling with family and friends.
