Andrew Johnson, PA-C, received his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPA) and Doctorate of Medical Science (DMSc) degrees from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, he was an EMT for Harrisonburg Rescue Squad.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. His clinical interests include urgent care, managing anxiety and depression, and weight loss. Mr. Johnson has also recently published an article on the urgent care evaluation and management of geriatric falls in the Lynchburg Journal of Medical Science. You may read it below. In his free time, he enjoys the beach, fishing, kayaking, and watching soccer on the weekends with his wife and dog.
