Biography

Benedict Ngwa, FNP-BC, graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. He received his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Ngwa has previous experience as both an emergency department nurse and as a nurse practitioner within the Norfolk community.

His professional interests include chronic disease management, especially cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and working with the elderly population. Mr. Ngwa is dedicated to helping patients receive the treatment they need so they can enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle, and is committed to providing consistent, high-quality care that leads to positive and lasting health outcomes.

Mr. Ngwa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In his free time, he enjoys all things soccer—including coaching his kids’ soccer team. He is also fluent in English and French.
