Biography

Hailey Reid, PA-C, received her Bachelor of Science in public health and minor in biology from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Ms. Reid gained an Associate of Applied Science in Paramedic from Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPA) degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and started her PA career in pulmonary and critical care.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked in the pre-hospital setting as a paramedic, while simultaneously volunteering at Virginia Beach Rescue Squad and serving as their Training Lieutenant. To add, Ms. Reid spent eight years working as a Virginia Beach Oceanfront Lifeguard with the last two years spent as one of the company’s Sergeant Supervisors while also working as an Emergency Room technician at two local Virginia Beach hospitals.

During her leisure time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, and camping with her husband and step daughter, as well as gardening and landscaping her home.
