Biography

Jeffrey Winebrenner, MD, FACP, graduated with his Bachelor of Science in chemistry at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. After serving as a submarine warfare officer, he received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Winebrenner completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth.

Dr. Winebrenner completed a variety of military duty tours before returning to Virginia to work at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth. He retired as a Captain in the Medical Corps of the United States Navy, proudly serving our country for 30 years. His professional interests include internal medicine, heart failure, and diabetes.

Dr. Winebrenner is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of the American Association for Physician Leadership. In his free time, he enjoys morning workouts in the gym, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
