Biography

Lisa Madren, MD, began her career with Bayview Physicians Group in 2007 in urgent care and became a Bayview hospitalist in 2008, adding to her previous six years of experience in hospital medicine where she served on numerous hospital committees. She earned her medical degree as a Dupont Fellow at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. Dr. Madren is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. In 2000, Dr. Madren was given an award as one of the Outstanding Professional Women of Hampton Roads.
