Biography

Michael A. Sotosky, MD, FAAFP, received his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he received the American Heart Association Research Award. Dr. Sotosky completed his family medicine residency at Ghent Family Practice through Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, where he was Chief Resident.

Dr. Sotosky has owned and operated his solo practice at Chesapeake Family Practice, PC, for the last 24 years. During that time he was also an active member on the medical staff of Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, where he served as President of the Medical Staff and as Chief of the Department of Family Practice. Dr. Sotosky is board certified in family medicine and certified in geriatrics. He comes to Bayview Physicians Group with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
