Biography

Dr. Samantha Brand graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She went on to receive her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and completed her family medicine residency at Riverside Brentwood Family Medicine in Newport News, Virginia.

Dr. Brand’s professional interests include weight loss counseling and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. She strives to promote healthy lifestyle choices and preventative care to help her patients live longer, healthier lives.

Dr. Brand is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, Medical Society of Virginia, Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, and American Academy of Family Physicians. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, biking, and dancing.
