Biography

Christopher Thompson is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in emergency and family medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hampden-Sydney College in 2014, followed by a Master of Science from Sentara College of Health Sciences in 2020. He later went on to obtain his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024.

Mr. Thompson brings over 5 years of experience as an emergency department nurse, where he developed a strong foundation in acute care and leadership. In addition to his clinical work, He serves as an adjunct assistant professor, providing clinical and didactic education to future registered nurses. His clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedics, and emergency care management. 

Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys reading, meditation, and spending time with his dog, Buzz.

Mr. Thompson prides himself on being a dedicated advocate for both patients and their families. He is committed to ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the entire healing process.
