Biography

Rebecca Covington is a board-certified Physician Assistant who earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School and her Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.

Originally from Great Britain, Rebecca relocated to the United States, where she ultimately pursued her dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked in clinical research and the orthopedic medical device industry. These experiences provided her with a unique perspective on healthcare and helped shape her appreciation for evidence-based medicine and personalized patient care.

Rebecca is particularly passionate about preventive medicine, healthy living, and helping patients make realistic, sustainable lifestyle changes. She enjoys encouraging patients to take an active role in their health and believes that even small changes can make a meaningful difference in long-term wellness. She believes that great healthcare begins with building meaningful relationships, listening to patients, and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their care.

Outside of the office, Rebecca practices what she encourages in her patients’ lives by prioritizing an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys functional fitness, working out, spending time with her husband and family, and making memories with their beloved Boston Terrier, Higgins.
