Biography

Alexis Higgins, MSPA, PA-C, received her Bachelor of Science in biology degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, graduating cum laude. She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) degree at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia. Her professional interests include patient education and lifestyle modifications, and the treatment of diabetes and thyroid disorders.

Ms. Higgins is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, weight training, relaxing at the beach, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
