Aneela Arif, MD

Specialty

Endocrinology

Biography

Dr. Aneela Arif earned her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York, and went on to pursue a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Eastern Virginia Medical School (now EVMS at ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. Arif is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is an active member of both the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

She is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of general Endocrinology. Dr. Arif places a strong emphasis on education and collaboration, taking time to explain the “why” behind each diagnosis or treatment decision—helping patients feel empowered and confident in managing their health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Arif is a proud mom who enjoys spending time with her family. She loves being outdoors, playing badminton, and planning her next travel adventure. On weekends, she’s often found brunching with friends or indulging her sweet tooth at a local dessert spot—strictly for research purposes, of course (not official endocrinology advice!).
