Biography

Carina Iskandir, MD, received her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, graduating cum laude. She went on to complete her residency program in internal medicine at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital in New York where she was also chief resident. Dr. Iskandir completed her pulmonary disease and critical care medicine fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York.

Her clinical interests include critical care medicine and general pulmonary diseases with a focus on bronchiectasis and NTM (nontuberculous mycobacterial) pulmonary disease. Dr. Iskandir is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the following fields: Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Diseases. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians.
