Biography

Cassie Tran, MD, is a board-certified physician in family medicine. She completed her residency with an additional focus on inpatient medicine at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Tran worked as a traveling hospitalist and as a nocturnist in South Carolina for more than two years before joining Bayview Physicians Group.

As a primary care provider, Dr. Tran’s goals are to provide accessible care to all her patients, promote healthy lifestyle modifications, and incorporate evidence-based medicine in her clinical practice. She has a multidisciplinary approach and works closely with other subspecialties to provide quality and comprehensive patient care. In addition, she is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and a frequent contributor to the Journal of Family Practice photo rounds case and discussion.

During her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys doing cross fit, running marathons, traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
