Biography

Ellysse Huston, AGACNP-BC, received her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Tidewater Community College, while dual-enrolled at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. She has practiced primarily in Hampton Roads as a critical care resource nurse which provided her a wide range of experiences throughout the hospital. Ms. Huston graduated with Honors from Georgetown University with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree and is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

As a Navy spouse, she has relocated multiple times and is settling back in Virginia as her husband rounds out his Navy Career. Ms. Huston’s clinical interests are in critical care and hospitalist medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, watching her daughter play soccer, exercising, cooking, and painting.
