Biography

Dr. Erran Briggs earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Indiana University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Following this, he completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Briggs is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal, pulmonary, and critical care medicine. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians. He also currently serves in the US Navy Medical Corps at the rank of LCDR.

His clinical interests include interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary embolism, and acute respiratory distress syndrome. He was born and raised in West Michigan and enjoys watching football, weight training, and listening to music and podcasts.
