Biography

George Murrell, MD, FACS, received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his surgical internship and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Duke University. He went on to complete a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dr. Murrell, a retired Navy Captain, has published more than two dozen scientific papers and delivered over 50 national/international scientific presentations. Dr. Murrell is an active member of numerous medical societies including the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Triological Society and a past President of the Rhinoplasty Society.

Dr. Murrell is board certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
