Biography

Qamar Ahmad, MD, FACP, completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Medicine & Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital where he was also Chief Resident. Following this, he completed a fellowship in pulmonary & critical care at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. His clinical interests include asthma and COPD, interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, and pulmonary hypertension.

Dr. Ahmad is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. He’s also a member of the American College of Physicians. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, listening to music, watching movies, playing guitar, jogging, skiing, and swimming.
