Biography

Rebecca Hartneck, FNP-BC, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from George Mason University, located in Fairfax, Virginia. Rebecca has an extensive background as a registered nurse, with nearly 15 years of experience. She has worked in administration as a Patient Care Supervisor/Bedflow coordinator, PACU RN, and in the emergency department, which is where she spent the vast majority of her RN career. Her time encountering patients in the emergency department is what inspired her to pursue her graduate education to become a family nurse practitioner. Rebecca is dedicated to forming strong relationships with her patients in order to enhance their care in the primary setting, contributing to less ER visits, and promoting better health outcomes.

Mrs. Hartneck is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors, whether it be by the water or in the mountains of western Virginia where she grew up.
