Biography

Vanessa Rave, MD, is a native to Hampton Roads. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She received her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She went on to complete her family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Her clinical interests include pediatric health, women’s health, geriatrics, preventative care, and providing routine newborn and infant care as well.

Dr. Rave is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. When she is not working, Dr. Rave enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her partner and their dog Frankie.
