Biography

Melissa Mather, ACNPC-AG, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, where she also completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree. Ms. Mather has experience as a critical care nurse and palliative care nurse practitioner.  

Ms. Mather is certified by and a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). Settling in Hampton Roads following her retirement from the military, Ms. Mather enjoys spending time hiking and being outdoors with family in her free time.
