Biography

Sophia Reid, ACNPC-AG, earned her Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree from Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Virginia. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Furthering her education, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude. Her clinical interests include critical care, hospital medicine, and cardiology.

Ms. Reid is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). She is also a member of the Virginia Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Outside of her clinical duties, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing sports, and being outdoors.
